Always an inspiring afternoon, come hear some of Ohio’s best young cellists!  This program features the winners of the Cleveland Cello Society Scholarship Competition, held in April 2023.

Collegiate Division:  

Jean and Jim Triner Gold Medal: April Lee, CIM undergraduate, student of Richard Weiss

Silver Medal: Piper Suk, CIM undergraduate, student of Sharon Robinson

Agnew Bach Prize: Irén Hangen Vázquez CIM undergraduate, student of Melissa Kraut)

Senior Division (grades 9-12):

Kwabena Owusu, Solon High School, student of Alan Harrell

Junior Division (grades 6-8):

The George Knobeloch Edwards Prize:

Elementary Division (through grade 5):

This event is free and open to the public
